Canadian Chief of Defence Staff visits Operation Friendship

General Walt Natynczyk - Chief of Defence Staff who visited Operation Friendship to see the work of his troops, thanked the Executive Director of Operation Friendship, Dr. Webster Edwards for facilitating his troops and presented him with a souvenir medal.

General Walt Natynczyk told the assembled staff and students that "no matter where we go around the world, we look for ways and means of contributing off the battlefield, in ways that will have an enduring effect on people and society".
